John Thorson
Corian squares glued-up into a cube with a waste square in the middle layer. All four faces marked for center point. First axis turns this into a cylinder
Turned on the second axis is effectively another cylinder, with sloping ends, making two pyramidal solids.
Split at the glue line and held in the Cole jaws to add a tennon that can be held in the four jaw chuck. Center bowls turned before holding in the Cole jaws again to turn away the tenon and make the foot.
First one looked too much like an ashtray so some curve turned in the top flats on the second bowl.
